I was born and brought up in the heart of the Nilgiris. My childhood wasn't spent in malls or traffic; it was spent breathing air scented with eucalyptus, running through misty tea estates, and waking up to the sound of nature.
For a local, Ooty isn't just a hill station; it is an emotion. It is the purity of the soil, the bite of the winter cold, and the warmth of a fresh Varkey dipped in hot tea.
But when I moved away, I realized something painful. The products selling as "Ooty Specials" in cities were diluted, fake, and lacked soul. The magic of my home was missing.

Taking the Nilgiri Fragrance to the World
OotyMade was born out of pure passion, not a business plan. I wanted to bridge the gap between the hardworking artisans of the Blue Mountains and the rest of the world.
We don't have massive warehouses. We have relationships. When you order from us, you are getting essential oils distilled by local farmers who have done it for generations. You are getting chocolates handmade in small kitchens, not factories.
This is my dream: To ensure that when you open an OotyMade package, you don't just see a product. You smell the Nilgiris.
